Although this is a projection lens for 16mm camera, the flange distance is surprisingly short, just 5 to 6mm! When I adapt it on my Pentax-Q, I need to be very careful since focusing just a bit over infinity, there is a high risk of cracking the camera senor!
In adapting it, I planted the whole lens into a M42 focusing helicoid. Then I screw the combo into a M42 to PQ adapter. The adapttion is almost done but the abovementioned risk exists due to the protruding rear element of the lens. One further step I took was to put a M49 to M52 ring (about 5mm thick) in between the focusing helicoid and the M42 to PQ adapter so as to ensure that the protruding element will not touch the senor.

The lens got no iris at the moment and thus the images are not sharp. I am going to add iris and then post new pictures afterwards. |

These are very common lenses in the UK, I have two of them. Neither of mine is labelled TT&H. I don't know who made them but they are seen with all kinds of names on them, including Kodak.
Not sure what design it is, I never used them much due to that very short back focus distance, which is a problem with many projector lenses. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Today, I added a black plastic ring in between the rear two elements to act as iris. Please advise whether its performance is better than yesterday.
