Nikon to Canon EF adapter advice

I want to buy a second Nikon F to Canon EF adapter, but would like one with less "super-infinite" focus. My 28 (series E) + BIG_IS adapter (Ebay seller) gets infinity somewhere between the 1m and 0.7m marks. It does work, of course, but I find it somewhat annoying. So, buying a second adapter, I'd like to avoid this issue (to this extent; I realise that an adapter will always focus somewhat beyond infinity).

I'd prefer a chipped adapter, for the EXIF data (I've ordered a split/microprism screen from Alex, so focusing won't be an issue). Going on the basis that the better-quality-looking adapters are likely to have tighter tolerances, I had a look at a couple of Ebay offerings. The Bower adapter looks like it's good quality, though it's not chipped. The TDK adapters seem like they might be reasonable quality too (and has a programmable chip).

Can anyone offer any advice?

Happypage HK ebay seller.
Have not tried Nikon -Eos from them yet.
C/Y, OM, Leica R............I have them.
They are the best adapters on ebay.
Not that cheap though. About $80 for C/Y.
price includes coding FL and max aperture. I suggest to always code f3.5
