This picture was taken by a Zeiss Macro lens (wide-open):

Picture is converted from RAW, sharpness set to zero. It's a detail of new police motorbike. Question is simple: What lens did I use? Smile

I'm looking forward to all gueses Wink

I'm not good at guessing, but there's just one Zeiss macro I'd seriously love to have, so that's what I'm guessing (also the picture suggests it's not 50mm):

Makro-Planar 100/2

I have no clue about the lens used but the results are remarkable.

If it indeed is the Makro-Planar 100/2 then your photo solidly confirms my desire that one day I need to add either the ZF 100/2 or the Voigtländer 125/2.5 SL to my bag

cannot be the 60 because of the CA and the borders look too bad for the 100:2.8
is this a Zeiss? maybe 100:2

At a wild guess, I think there is something Sonnar-ish about it, and as the net suggests there was a Zeiss 2.8/100 T* macro Sonnar I will go for that, even though I've never come across one.

I'm sorry, nobody is right Sad The lens name wasn't even mentioned. You'll kill me, guys...

I'll help a little: As I know, the lens was manufactured only for a single mount version. It has 6 aperture blades. The picture was taken by Sigma SD14, which has crop factor slightly over 1.7, so effective focal length can appear somewhat different to real focal length of the lens Wink

All right, if it was only designed for one mount, it's one that has the mount in its name... Macro-Prakticar 55/2.8!!

Bingo! Very Happy

The lens really surprised me. It performs really differently in different situations. It has very nice bokeh in these tech-oriented scenes, but it doesn't like grass or branches - bokeh is then quite busy. It's sharp for close distances, but it isn't as sharp for more distant objects.
