Great lens, as you would expect from a Sonnar it's really sharp and has excellent coatings.

Nice result from a good lens! I have many of them due I bought many FSU camera to try them out all was good lens for sure. I like your samples Ian!

Yes, I fixed the focus so it will focus but haven't managed to get the sleeve to stop rotating so you have to guess the aperture setting, there were all stopped down roughly halfway so probably around f8.

It's great to see it in use. The colours are very nice and rich - is that because it's a USSR lens or because you chipped the saturation?

That's a lens with a lot going for it. It certainly handles wide exposures well.

No playing with colours, the NEX produces very vivid colours, these were shot using auto HDR then I turned up the contrast in Photoshop, apart from that, they are as they were shot.

this lens gives good color, and great for BW. I have it & I like it.

Every house has one Patrick, there is no cable TV here.

A couple of stitched shots I forgot to post, just before sunset.
