I got an adapter to bring the lens up to M42 and tried it the other day. Wasn't expecting any level of greatness and certainly didn't expect to achieve infinity focus, but it's not too bad after all.

These images were all shot at f/2.8

I have this lens as a gift from the shopowner. Its a good lens and I love how the blades form a perfect round iris ! Laughing

p.s. I think you have a typo in your title, it should be 135 not 133. Cheers ! Very Happy

I had already changed the header to reflect that

It's a Latin phrase which translates into English as 'my fault' or 'my own fault' Wink

Wait a minute, the M39 version is a 133mm lens, isn't it? So the title is correct AFAIK.

Ok thanks. I learn something new here ! Very Happy

I realise I had made a mistake too. I own a Jupiter-11A not Tair-11A as yet. Embarassed

Until I removed it earlier, the title had an errant 'A' after the '11' but the M39/133 bit was always in the original title Embarassed

The 'A' suffix means that the lens has an end similar to a T-mount, so it can be m-39, m42 or whatever is fitted. The Russian mount is slightly smaller than a standard T-mount but a T-mount can be fitted ok, I have my Jupiter 37AM fitted with a Pentax K T-mount, and my 3M-5A. Very Happy
