My daughter's boyfriend has an Olympus 35 EC with a 42/1,7 lens.

I want to share in the forum my experience with it.

Great lens!!!!

Not very contrast (1960's lens) but very, very sharp.

I have heard many good things about these early Olympus rangefinder cameras.

From what you have also said, perhaps I should go find one on ebay Very Happy

I have to find time to test it, currently my Nr1 favorite camera Yashica Electro 35 Many, many thanks for Andy and Larry they did open my eyes how great this little cam. I got refurbished from Andy so I need just use it. It's provide damn good result better than any of my SLR even with most expensive lenses!!!

I've got the RC model (which is mentioned in the title) and yes, it's a great little cam! Really fascinating!

I keep looking out for one within my price range but they just seem to be getting more & more expensive.
