Hello y'all,

I have need of a sharp 200-300 lens, and my budget is near nil. I've seen the above mentioned Hexanons going for reasonable rates on ebay, and I know that I can adapt them to my camera, but I am having a heck of a time finding much information on either. So...

Has anyone here made use of either of these lenses on any dSLR? How well did it work? My immediate application is for a total solar eclipse, so sharpness is very important.

Any information is helpful!

Thanks!

Welcome!

I had both I sold 300mm and kept 200mm

300mm was a good lens, but 200mm can be superb.
