Vivitar 85/1.8 T/T2 + T2->M42 adapter

Pre-set lens, T/T2 mount (42x0.75) + T2->M42 adapter (infinity focus is possible).

I have two of them, this one is in better mechanical/cosmetical condition and it's free for sale.

OPTICS: No fungus, no scratches, few dust particles. For optical performance see samples.
MECHANICS: Focusing is smooth, aperture works fine.
COSMETICS: Lens is in very nice condition, almost like new - no scratches, dings. Filter ring accepts filters.

Included: Front cap (screw-in), T2->M42 adapter (adjustable rotation)

This lens performs very well, at f/1.8 is soft, suitable for portraits and dreamy images, at f/2.8 becomes sharp with very occasional slight glow effect around reflections. At f/4 is completely sharp and at f/5.6 I see no difference when compared to Zeiss Pancolar 80/1.8. OOF lights are soft. Unfortunatelly I have no idea about optical diagram or manufacturer of this lens (the lens is very old - older than the Vivitar serial-numbering scheme). The lens is quite heavy for its size (probably a lot of glass).

I missed my chance to get this lens for $65. It was in a lot deal and not in the title description. To bad...missed it by a dollar. I can see why they demand such high prices!
