I'm new to this forum. Im gald to have found this. I'm finding some helpful info on some manual lenses I have and am considering for purchase to use on my Pentax K200d.
I recently bought (US$5) a Telesor Zoom Reverser. It has M42 threads, and a slide/transparency holder on the other end. It looks and works like a slide copier. I've attached it to my K1000 and K200d with a T-mount adapter, and have copied slides with a lo-o-o-o-ong exosure - 3/4 crop with the digital. This has a zoom-like feature that is marked 1.0 to 2.0; 1 being the full size image, 2.0 being a 100% crop or so.
My Qs are: Why is it called a "zoom reverser" ? Does this have another use other than copying slides? Is there a way to get a full sized image copied on my DSLR with this device? Anyone have experience or knowlege of this type of thing?
I'm hoping that this forum has a diverse and broad enough membership that someone may shed some light on this. There seems to be minimal info online about zoom reversers. |

Hello and welcome to the forum!
I´m not familiar wih slide copiers, but I´m pretty sure, that the name
"Reverser" means, that you can make B&W positives from B&W negatives with this thing, and of course copy slides too. _________________ Markku

So one would take a photo of the negative? Then the new roll of negatives would have positive images, and thus would not need developing if put into a slide? What would happen if one took a picture of a color negitive? What would the new negatives look like? |
