Tokina SD 70-210

Hi All

I've a "new" Tokina SD 70-210 replacing one that failed. I bought it from e-bay & it arrived well packaged in excellent condition. The trouble is that it will not focus to infinity other than at 70mm. I can't get focus confirm on my Pentax K10D & I have a split screen viewfinder.

I'm almost positive that it worked fine just after I got it.

After fiddling, it seems that it need to be closer to the "film" plane.

I don't recall dropping it.

All other lenses are OK.

Any idea's?
