Perhaps the R-lenses now will increase in price! Good for the ones we have, bad for the ones we want to buy...

Maybe.
Likely the prices will slide for a bit.
There is a lot of new product on the shelves. Not just at Photo Arse and All.
Just like when cars are discontinued. Folks want what is coming next. Not what is passe.
I sure hope that the M-series does not go this way Sad
