A local guy is selling his Nikon F2 body with a 50/1.4 lens.

According to Roland Vink´s site http://www.photosynthesis.co.nz/nikon/lenses.html, this AI-converted lens seems to be the "K" version with 7 elements in 5 groups. The newer versions have 7 elements in 6 groups.

How about the differences between those lens designs?

Thank You Koji,
I had forgotten that web site.

It seems, that in Cavina´s tests, the "K" version (same optical design than the orginal Nikkor-S) could hold it´s own rather well.
