While the Super Macro Takumar I had was rather poor at infinity, this Macro Takumar seems to be really good, at all apertures. I should compare it to my S-M-C Macro Takumar, but in theory, results have to be the same, it's the same optical formula

Some very nice results from this lens - not sure mine is anywhere as good as that (it's a later version), and there's the infinity focus problem on the 5D to deal with too
