Anyone tried it? What should I use to hold the 24mm film in the scanner?

Get some matt black card and cut out your frames using the 35mm film holder as a basic template for the overall size and design

Depends on which scanner you have. I used to have a Nikon (LS-1000?) that had an APS cartridge. Just pop the cassette into the cartridge, slide it into the scanner, and the machine would take care of the rest...the film remaining untouched by human hands.

I think I used it once.

Here's the equivalent for the current Nikon:

Sorry, my scanner is an Epson V700. The main reason I chose it was because it has a wide choice of film holders: 35mm negs/slides, 120/220, 5"x4" and a large frame for odd sizes. It seems to me that the software doesn't work properly unless you use one of these frames.

I'd had the scanner for only about 3 months when my son gave me what seems a lifelong task of scanning all his "pictures" - mostly teenagers fooling about! Smile I've done about 700 prints so far but - you guessed it - there is no holder for his APS film Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the ideas, I'm going to try cutting an aperture out of two sheets of thin black plastic. It ought to work OK in the open frame. I'll let you know how it goes.
