Film twisting axially

How do you prevent it? If I leave a 135 hanging from both ends like usually suggested the film lifts the sides up. How do I get it planewise (planar? )

I get a little bit of curling but it isn't a big problem. I hang the film from one end only, with a weighted clip on the free bottom end. Both clips are wide enough to keep the ends flat, but the film still curls a little at mid-length.

The film should be hung by clips at the top and bottom, they should be attached to the edges of the film. Film clips are available that do the job.
If you hang the film with something like a clothes peg attached in the middle this will encourage the outer edges to curl in.
These little things were worked out many years ago and film clips are easily found

Tired this method:
1 left the film on spiral and let it dry for about 24 hrs
2 shook and turned the spiral about 3 times during first 3 hrs
3 took the film away and put it back on spiral for another 24 hrs

Film is now easy to handle and no dust.
Do you think something bad happens to film by drying it like this?
