I have been using Apple Aperture 2 for most simple conversions and file organization.

It seems fine for most uses and is great for files that will be printed.
I find the images I publish to the web are not so great with unless full size.
Does anyone else use this program? Any thoughts to share?

So are you talking about the quality of the JPEG output when you select "Save Version"?

I haven't really realized anything; I output all my Flickr images to "Export Version->Constrain to 1024x1024 px".

The one gripe I have about the software is how it will pretty much gobble up my system during import of hundreds of RAW files. When I have dual 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo and 4GB of RAM, that get annoying. But that's beside the point I guess.

I'm willing to test things out if you want.

For resizing I use Photshop Element (Ver6?), it does a decent job with jpeg
file with/without for Web output option, which is a gimmick for another jpeg.

OT-

Pbase's thumbnail photos have a washed colour, which is not my liking.
Some photo site might have change file's colour attribute or web browser
is not colour sensitive. I use only Adobe RGB for photo's colour space and
browser is either Safari or Firefox, which are colour sensitive.
