Flash in a bag

Electronic equipment often comes packed in a white translucent material, either in sheets or as bags. Save some - I got my bag from a VCR box - and rubber band it on your flash for a nice diffuser.

I'm thinking of attaching some foam core to the rear as an additional improvement, but it works well as I have it now.

Oh - and I use a heavy/dead camera such as the Vitomatic as a flash stand. A lighter camera is better when mounting the flash on a tripod though.

I never thought of using another camera for a flash stand, very clever!
