I was reading a post by Jesito about a home-made lens spanner,
and it got me to thinking about just how in/expensive purpose-made
tools for the job are. Not a great amount, when it comes down to it.

In the process of looking for such tools, I came across a very
comprehensive site with many articles about tools, repairs,
techniques, and item-specific information. I've just spent a couple
of hours reading some of the very detailed information there, and
I felt members of this forum would like to have a look if they
were not already aware of the site. I now have it bookmarked
for future reference.

Hi Craig,

You're right, it's a well known source of info, specially the forum.
They also stock some repair manuals.
Another reference site is the Rick's one: http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/
and if you're involved in yashicas, the one from the Yashica Guy: http://www.yashica-guy.com/

Jes.
