Jinli 9700 Tripod

ı found a tripod (Jinli 9700) I want to use it with my Zenit 122. But when i put my camera on the tripod's screw it is turning around itself. I couldn't put my camera. is it broken?

Tripods have different screw diameter. You need an adapter between your tripod and your camera.Take a look one in nearest camera shop.

Sounds like you either need a 3/8" male - 1/4" female adapter like this:

Or since Rugift say the Zenit 122 has a 1/4" thread; you may need a 1/4" male - 3/8" female adapter instead.

The first one is easy to get - as Attila says, any camera shop should have them. The second might be a bit more awkward so I would suggest you take your Zenit and tripod along to your nearest shop so they can help you directly.

I found your tripod but I can't really tell from the picture what the QR plate thread is although it looks big enough to maybe be 3/8".

Only other thing that comes to mind is that the threaded insert in the camera body has come loose and is rotating.
