Thank you ! This lens has lovely bokeh, one of the best one. Perfectly soft at wide open for portraits.

I had this lens and liked it but sold it Smile I think it's also good for tele-landscapes. If you search the forum there's a good description from sichko on how to disassamble and clean it if you need to.

Amazing Mattias! Superb picture!

@Trifox this lens has a few variants.

Is this version better or worse? The printing on the lens describes the lens with exactly the same wording as the one purchased by Trifox.

I have a few Praktica cameras and the MTL3 is the nicest to hold.

Best thing is you can put normal batteries in them and the meter is still accurate.

I think the MC versions had slight better contrast & sharpness, but the early version was known for is bokeh, due to the amount of aperture blades.

I guess all MC versions are same , they have no optical difference.

Attila

Which version of the lens did you shoot the above portaits with?

And what camera did you use?

Nikon D50+ this latest MC version, M42 not allowed infinity on Nikon body , effective distance was shorter than a normal Nikkor 135mm lens, but long enough for portraits.
