I think I have a good copy... its a bit soft wide open but its already sharp at f4

This is a very nice copy.
I did not use mine yet.
It came from Tenheis and also is a good one.

Congratulations, you're lucky Smile I like the colours and strong contrast on your photo.
Zenitar 16mm is a good lens for FF (or 1.5x multiplier) dSLR, for my Olympus E-300 (2x) I need the Peleng 8mm. But it's too expensive...

For wide angle shoots use slide as I do, for scan negatives use slide copier.

one of the best MF lens...
and in the hands of a guy with good eyes..... we have these great results...

Some of these samples make one ready to move on into uncharted waters. I never really liked fisheye before

I love Zenitar, a super lens.
I also use mine on a Pentax ME Super for FF 180' but on 1.5 crop it has something very special and is still Super wide.
