Yes, I have.
They are regular items on ebay. The lenses are the usual Japanese third-party things of the 1960's-70's, lots of Tokinas among them, the Kiron 85-205/3.8, etc. I think the brand was abandoned by its owners (whoever they were) sometime in the 70's. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Luis, I'm looking at a 135 for my Exaktas, is it worth going after or a very
mediocre lens? |

I'm guessing probably decent. Some of these are certainly Tokinas for instance, it would depend on the specifics.
The one Exakta mount I see for sale there right now I can't identify for sure, but for the price your risk is low.
Some of the other Vemars currently for sale include a couple of excellent Tokina preset t-mount 200mm and 300mms. The automatic lenses currently available seem to be from the same series, possibly Tokina.
You may be better off getting a known-good T-mount lens and an Exakta T-mount, or even better an Exakta T4. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Bill and I have this, and it is a very decent lens. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Yes, so have I. On the other hand, I've bought a couple of things from him without incident, and he sells a lot of stuff cheap. My attitude is that if its cheap (I rarely buy anything for more than $20 anyway, and usually less) its worth the risk. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
