I got this lens cheap because it came with an Exakta mount. But as I have a couple of M42 T4's in no time I had the mount swapped and the lens on the Yashica TL Electro-X. Photo: Pentax K100D, 43 Limited at f/1.9...

I find it works quite well on film, but less so on my DSLR. There is a big difference in flare, I don't know why.

Yes the flare is fantastic, even at dusk.

I guess that's sensor reflection and a poor coating of the rear lens.

Actually, I think it is kind of important to have a 18-21mm lens in your set esp. when you shoot with a crop cam. On film or fullframe digital such a lens adds some special opportunities.
