i have a setup i use for every macro shot. from the camera it goes like this: pk13, 3xTC, 55mm micro. this gives me a max of about 2:1 magnification. unfortunately i loose a little IQ with the TC.

How do you get them to stand still? Fab shots ving. Have you tried the nikkor 200/4 macro? It is very nearly as good as the 55/3.5 and gives you more room (no need for the multiplier)
