In low resolution almost any lens looks good, please provide crops on central part and at the edges. I think in advance this is an average lens. _________________ -------------------------------

Thats a Tamron model 680 with matched teleconverter -
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.tamron.co.jp/data/old-lens/olm135f2_8.htm
One of the first generation of Tamron T-mount lenses, and in fact one of the first T-mount lenses.
Under the regular Tamron brand the set was also sold as a "Duo-Tamron"
I have this lens, without the teleconverter, as a Soligor.
Its quite a decent lens I think. It would probably be better without the teleconverter. The T-mount should unscrew off the end, and should go on the lens proper after you unscrew the TC, making it a 135/2.8 instead of the 225mm/5.5 with the TC on.
I know Hanimex sold the set, but I wonder what other Tamron models were sold by Hanimex. Its a good alternative line of investigation as I am collecting these early Tamrons. Thanks for the tip ! _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

That's absolutely correct, luis.
I've got this lens and it performs very well as a 135mm but it's horrible with the converter.
Anyway it's nice to use and has a beautiful diaphragm shape. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
