Hi all,

Today at a flea market, I got a 35mm point & shoot grey plastic camera for 30 €. It's a Yashica/Kyocera and has nothing appealing for most people not in the know because its lens is a Carl Zeiss T* Tessar 3,5/35mm : the Yashica T5 !

You were extremely lucky, the Yashica T5 tends to be quite a bit more expensive on ebay - current going rate for good ones is 80-100 €. The T4, which is almost equivalent but less of a design nerd item, goes for half that, and the butt ugly and somewhat more bulky T3, which has the best lens in the bunch (2.8 Tessar), goes for about 20€ - better looks obviously are more desirable than better optics.

These cameras ar all AUTo ones ? (Program mode only)

Is there a compact film camera (same style as thses T Yashicas) with manual or at least semiautomatic exposure (Av or Tv) ?

Olympus XA has Av mode and the exposure can even be adjusted by setting the ASA value. And there are others too... somebody continue the listing Smile.
