It may be a process lens, used on a large process camera. Some of these things were room-sized.

It should be usable as a large format long lens on any of the usual formats (though it would require a lot of bellows), or as a "normal" on a particularly large camera.

The Germinars seem to have had about 70-degree coverage so at infinity I guess it could work on 20x24
