Been buying cheap lenses again.
My wife starts to look a bit strangely on me when these padded packages arrive ( I have been selling of a few lenses also though).

This time it's a series E 2.8/100 and a Meyer Orestor 2.8/135 (as if I wasn't warned by the Domiplan success story)

They arrived today so I haven't been able to put them to the test in full daylight.
The Nikkor seems to be a neat lens. It doesn't look as solid as my 1.8/85, but I have a feeling I will like it.
Didn't get a feel for the Meyer before it got too dark, but at least I could see that the out of focus rendering easily beats the Domiplan.

The Orestor looks very much like my Pentacon, just a bit shorter. Are they made at the same factory?

Samples:

Nikkor

Meyer (just a shot from our window)

Nice samples. Nice lenses.

Orestor 135 mm and Pentacon 135 mm were made by Meyer Optic.

Enjoy them. Rino.

The 100 nikon E is a relatively well known "sleeper". Plastic, lightweight and deadly sharp.

Today I received the Tokina AT-X 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5 Macro AIS MF lens that I bought at eBay...I have owned the same lens before (Olympus OM mount), and it's one of my all-time favorite lenses. This is now my "walk-around lens" for my Nikon F3HP.

I only shoot film, so samples aren't something I can do, as I don't own a scanner. I'm "old school".
