Hi,

I would like to know how are you dealing the metadata of your files taken with manual lens.

I come through that question after shooting with my new M42 chipped adapter. I use this adapter on few lens, so I didn't bother when buying what was lens and max-aperture reported by that chip. Now, I find it a bit annoying that the lens and focal lens reported are wrong.

Thus, do you correct this information in some way and how ?

It seems that Lightroom doesn't allow me to modify this information. A quick search lead me to the exiftool utility, which seem pretty neat. However, it seems that I have some trouble modifying some field of my dng files.

There is no really easy solution to modify internal lens data in the EXIFs.
However, there are some smaller applications that can do that.
I usually do not care much about these info. Perhaps that's wrong...
