RB67 Scan - Trying to Get It Right

This was a challenging exposure with the RB67 and Velvia. I lucked out on the "guesstimate"
for shutter speed and aperture - normally would have bracketed,
but this was the last shot on the roll, and since
I was traveling didn't want to reload right away.

You can see that I need to watch myself more
with the RB...I didn't want to have the foreground
blurred; rather I wanted complete focus all the way
through....of course, should have stopped down.
That's how I learn to remember though!

You'll notice that the colors are definitely more saturated
than when I use Provia. I did not adjust saturation;
the only thing I manipulated was Unsharp Mask
at a very small change of 35:1:0.

This was simply a part of the trail that goes on with
this kind of scenery for miles and miles. It's hard to
pick one area over another. But at least this typifies
the rain forest ecosystem.

Larry, your nature shots are always impressive, but this one has something special: May be the ligth, or the green and yellow well balanced saturation, the fine details... You got the right point, congrats!
