Yes, maybe that is the case. They are a Zeiss dealer so it should be as new if Zeiss went thru it.
Haha no second one for me. I put it here for others. I would not be afraid to spend half price on a Zeiss refurbished lens with warranty.
My next and maybe last ZM target is the biogon 2.8/25 (400 lp ).
Too bad yours was already gone.

Oh yeah, that ZM 25mm is quite a performer. I have seen the test shots they (Zeiss) had made with it on Gigabit film:

Yep, too bad my (new like condition) 25mm is gone. I found out too late that some guy uses that now on his M8
to take shots of parties in nightclubs...had I known that before, I had not sold it.
