Attila, you seem to have a yen for a folder. The Bessas and the Ikontas are the tops, though I'd throw in a Certo (really good film handling) or Franka etc if they have the top, e.g. Schneider lenses.

Mind you, apart from a few, these all use front cell focusing. This means only the front element moves back and forth to get focus - this is not ideal. Add to that all the other variables, and the folder experience is not modern photography. (Modern Fujis excepted, which actually is where I'd look if I had the $3-400 burning a hole in my pocket)

TLRs, I'd love to get an Ikoflex or early Rollei or Brilliant or whatever. The Tessar and equivalent are focused in the modern manner, yet retain a lot of their charm. Overall picture quality is usually better than with folders. You can't fit one in a pocket though.

here's a friend of mine on flickr, he usually shoots leica but he uses the Ikoflex

I would like to get best image quality as possible I bought an early Rollei and lost within two days. I still have it Yashica MAT and I have a Flektogon 4/50mm MC lens , any experience which ones is the best Flektogon or Yashica MAT ? I have a chance to buy again an early Rollei with 7,5cm Tessar or a Pentacon six.

I am so happy today - my Bessa shutter is working again. I'm not sure which elves or gnomes worked on it, but I thank them all! Very Happy
