Hey, thanks luis! I was "in wait" by getting up in the pre-dawn and hoping for something to materialize. I was not feeling like any good light was going to be possible that morning, but then looking to the east, I saw some holes in the clouds. So I waited for the sun to rise up enough to shine through the holes.

Thanks Ron! I never thought about a postcard! I cropped out some overemphasized details to the right of the image, and it does sort of have the dimensions of a postcard!

Thank you, Nesster! I highly considered "tweaking' the image, by increasing the contrast and maybe the saturation of the light hitting the tower. But, in the end, I feel it should just stay as it was. The light isn't a highly dramatic entity, but then again there is a subtlety in nature that sometimes it's better to let it through as it is...and not put any "human" alterations into it.

Haha! It's not always easy getting up early, but when you are sleeping on the beach overnight, the birds tend to wake you up!

poilu, that green is one place where I considered enhancing the green via digital manipulation, but again decided to just let it stay as it was. It was still pretty dark outside, and my eyes saw only that amount of green, so I left it alone.

Thank you very much Sven. No towers in Sweden, but there are beautiful scenes just the same.
I really didn't expect such a nice reaction to the image! I guess we are our own worst critics, and I tend to stare too long at my images, and then find all these things that I "should have done"...

Bill, there was no problem for patience, as I was just roaming the beach looking at the patterns in the sand. The sun itself was the catalyst here.
