My Biotar arrived right now. It looks new and I love the metalic look.

Excelent construction and smooth focus ring.

The aperture ring scared me a little because I couldn't change the settings but I saw I had to push back and then turn to another f value.

I know I'll like the results. Then I'll show you.

I guess this is an auto Biotar that is explain strange behavior. Hard to get this metal finish lenses like in new condition! Congrats for your new rare item! This is a lovely quality lens.

I'd like to know if it won't give me any problems. If it is an auto one I hope I don't srew it pushing the ring every time I want a new aperture.
