On an Ilford fact sheet about the PAN 100 and PAN 400, see: http://www.pinhol.com.pl/s&a/artykuly/ilford/pan100400.pdf
it says, quote: 'Both films have a high degree of exposure latitude, 1 and 1/2 stops under to as much as 5 stops over, making them easy and reliable to use in difficult lighting situations.'

so which one refers to pushing, which one to pulling the film?
they can be pushed up tp 5 stops?

thank you for the answer naplam, this has been clear...
but I had been hoping that the wording on the Ilford site could be understood differently, because I had read in forums that these films had successfully had been pushed 2, even 3 steps, and then, who would like to push 5 stops?
But I guess it must mean 5 stops pullable, 1 nd 1/2 stops pushable..
