Hi, does anyone here have experience with Cooke / Taylor-Hobson Speed-Panchro S2 cine lenses? A little googling finds mention (but no details) of conversion for Nikon-F and Canon-EOS mounts. Has anyone here performed such a conversion? Can it be done without a machine shop? Thanks.

I improvised a mount for one on an EOS. I had the Arri helical mount though as well as the lenshead. I think i used some ring from a dead lens and/or an mount adaptor which fit within the Canon mount and accepted the Arri mount.

I have recently succeeded to adapt to PL mount Cooke Panchro S3 25mm, Cooke Panchro S2 32mm, COoke Panchro S2 50mm, and Cooke Panchro S2 75mm (machining , collimating, etc). If someone is interested you may contact me teovidium@yahoo.com or here.
Regards

Here are some test pictures taken with Cooke Speed Panchro 50mm T2 Re-housed for PL mount.
All pictures shot wide open T2 with a PL mount to Sony E adapter. Raw from Sony Nex 3 camera, resized to jpeg in PS (thanks to forum member simbon4o)

To be honest, I'm not really impressed. The TTH Speed Panchros are fantastic lenses (I had the 2/108mm),
so my results are very different...

Not impressed about lenses or pictures or both?
I consider this lens (and the whole set) beautiful lenses
As mentioned these are few test pictures, the good news is that lenses are re-housed for cinema and photography as well
