In Orio's edit, look at the bark on the hedge branches right of the bicycle. Lots of detail. The hedge comes to life.

Zuiko lenses all have creamy smooth bokeh in the background.

28mm f3.5 was my first Zuiko to Sigma SD14 conversion. Click link for "original" size which is like a crop.

A tripod would help sharpen and give 3D body, as would exploitation of the software. I didn't know anything about the software when I made those. I was using a sledge hammer and wood chisel to convert lenses. Some may find the pics of conversion disturbing for that reason. I used bailing wire and chewing gum. Gum works for plugging holes where dof-preview and OM release buttons were ripped out.

I'm watching the lenses that are on Carsten's flickr profile stated as 'manual prime lens top list' and as seen this beauty for a startig price of 12.50 pound I've just bid on it and got it for just 12.50 pound (=25USD) which is quite bargain I guess Smile

I've also bought a Tamron Adaptall-2 28/2.5 this week so I have a nice 28mm couple and probably I will sell my Vivitar(Kiron) 28/2 as it's just Minolta MD and I use it as reverse mounted macro dedicated lens.
