I can't wait to try this lens on my Nikon F (it has the simple prism viewfinder like yours).

Anyway, ventured into one of my back storage rooms and shot this at
f5.6 and onboard flash set to 1/64 (should've diffused the flash):



I stuck my nose in the owners manual and close focusing minimum is
12.5 inches when setting the focus ring to infinity.
