Don't know rare or not. I have not seen if I remember as well.Sometimes from rare things you can found same time on ebay and after you need to wait months for the next ones.

Its not rare and I think the maximum price I would pay for it (with shipping and Helios lens) would be around 12 GBP. But thats would be the price I would pay for any Zenit kit.
The 11 is based on EM/ET which is based on the bestseller Zenit E. It just suffered a little facelift.
From my point of view the big minus of the Zenit (the E chassis, together with the TTL, 12, and newer plastic covered Zenits) would be the luck of long exposure speeds. I like like is feels in the hands, how it works, but most of all I like the sound of the shutter. Its just great, at least of my Zenit E's sound. May be because has a cloth not a metal shutter. I wonder if Canon A series have similar shutter sound.

The first SLR I owned was it's brother the 12xp (don't ask why I sold it). Solid camera if rather heavy. Pretty reliable and decent performers. Great shutter sound Very Happy

Far from rare in UK. I'd expect to pay 10 - 20 GBP depending on condition.

Certainly any camera of that age in that condition is rare.

My first SLR (when I was 15) was a Zenit 11. The next one was a Zenit 12 (with the Fotosniper kit) Smile
