It finishes on a Tuesday? Not good from a selling point of view - Saturday and Sunday evenings are best.

You know what? I also used to think that. But after having noticed the big amount of auctions ending on Saturday and Sunday, I decided to sell from now on on Monday evening. For the following reasons:

1- much less competition and distractions from other auctions

2- on Monday evening, all working people is at home. Since I rarely sold anything outside Europe, and when it happened, it was always far Asia or Australia, which means Tuesday early morning, it's also OK

3- Monday is usually the saddest day of the week, and in the evening, people want to feel cheered up and buy lenses Very Happy

4- THe people who have lost their auction on SUnday, might be angry, and if it happens to be my same object I am selling, they will buy it from me without much care about the price - so I can sell at better price Wink

@Orio
You certainly have a point with 3 and 4 there, and there is a lot of selling competition at the weekend. Otoh, competition among bidders sometimes gets them frenzied and there's nothing like a good bidding war to drive the price up.
