I own a couple of MLs that I find perfect performers. I've seen very pleasant test shots here and on flickr taken with Auto Yashinon and Yashinon-DX, mostly the f1.7 and f2 ones. I ask myself if it is worth getting those older ones, characterwise.

I know some of you have both lens types of this brilliant mark. Could you please share your opinions and compared images? Is there a substantial difference in rendering between a 50mm Yashinon(-DX) and Yashica ML?
