The Yashica ML 28/2.8 would be any good for aquatic pictures! This
was taken with just the onboard flash diffused, no other lighting. I
think this might be one of the sharpest lenses I own, and was surprised
how close I could get in focusing.

Thanks to you guys and this forum!

I did all the processing in PSE 4.0 with the new plugins, thanks, Bob! I
know pics like these are nobody else's thing here, just surprised when
I processed this. Luv the colors.

Bill

I'm a big fan of this lens, I have the Distagon 2.8/28 and the Yashica is very, very close in quality - at half the price.

BTW great picture! I love the colours too!
Had enough of those red-painted fish.

Thanks, guys!

Attila, there are no APF-ers using manual focus lenses, just me, so there's
no danger from that quarter.

Orio, yeah, the red-painted fish got a little old. Wink Hope to try this
lens on some landscape scenes...

I really wish you lot would stop producing these rabbits (lenses) out of the hat. Enough already, I'm broke

Yeah! It seems the ML28 rocks.
I am looking forward to testing my copy...
