Just bought this lens for the E-P2. Now curious as what should have been the right price range to pay?
Also, any experience, I found that Tony had the f1.9 version but couldn't find the f1.5 version? Would it vignette too much? From flickr samples it seems that not much.
Thanks. |

Hi!
From the pictures you posted, that lens looks like it's an f2.5 version, not f1.5. What do you think?
I'm looking forward to seeing the results you can get from it. I've been interested in these for a long time, but have never been fortunate enough to see one in person.
Cheers! _________________ --Glasslover

my experience with the 1.9, and every other 25mm cine ive used, is that they vignette significantly. much, but not all, can be removed in PP. i shot these lenses in 3:2 or 6:6 aspect ratios to get rid of the vignetting.

How stupid of me not to notice that! I just read the description which said f1.5. I've just called the seller and left a message to cancel the order as the price (Ł50) was in my opinion not worth the f2.5.
Thanks Tony, I will keep that in mind, so I guess the flickr examples that I see are all cropped.
Sorry for the trouble, and glad I posted the message straight after ordering! |

well, what you see on flickr could be a combination of stopped down aperture/PP as well...
