Why shoot on film in digital age ?

I am waiting for light meter after when I got it I will try it for sure. Currently I love more modern cameras. What is a benefits from Exakta ? They are pretty anything else ?

Every Exakta (not the Exa) has the capability to accept two film holders so that as one shoots, the exposed film is wound into the second holder.

When you've shot enough on one roll, you use the camera's built in film knife to cut the film and you can then remove the holder containing the exposed film and the partly used holder as well - you lose the film section between each holder naturally.

You can then pop in a different film and away you go again....

Kodak BW400CN. Some people do not like it, but I just love it.
Excellent results with my rangefinder cams and SLRs and still ever so convinient. You can get it developed in any lab...

Very true - most of the "modern" features we see today have their roots in the past from Germany.

Sad part is they was leader in the past hundred years and now ? Everything is manufactured in Japan, China. Perhaps same good as well, but I would live to see Made in Germany.

I have only just ‘Restarted’ shooting film this year and I am doing it just for the fun of it.
I spent many years shooting film and doing most of my own darkroom work or being directly involved in it. I have had film digitalised since the 1980’s and I have always enjoyed and had a great deal of respect for digital.
Now I have the time I shoot 35mm film (Snaps) on my AX1, AX2, Nikon EM and ME Super purely for the fun of doing something different. The little AX cameras let me take quick snaps and the SLRs allow me to use my lenses on another format. Shooting with the Zenitar 16mm and 8mm Peleng on 35mm is great fun.
I honestly believe film can’t do anything digital can’t. It can emulate or even better any film make or type but a 48bit film scan can also contain a good deal of information to play with.
Live and let live, it’s all photography and it can all be good fun

Digital just doesn't seem to have the same "soul" that film does. Then there is the anticipation of waiting to see what you have in your slides and/or prints, where digital has "instant gratification". Also, at-least for me, shooting film makes me "think" the photo alittle more carefully than with digital.
