Yes indeed it is an extremely early retrofocus wide angle lens, and it is apparently simply a scaled down version of the well known 52mm Fujita retrofocus lens for the Fujita 66 medium format camera, from 1957.
I have been assuming these dated to 1957-58. There are no variants that I know of, and it may predate the more developed Fujita 35/2.5 which seems to have sold in significant numbers. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
