Hello.

Got amongst various junk this thing:



It has only text: MADE BY THE WOLLENSAK OPTICAL CO. ROCHESTER. U.S.A. and below it: 4 " F

By design, it appears to be petzval lens, but since it lacks aperture, I believe, this is projection lens?

Estimated register distance is about 70mm, which also suggests projector lens.

Projection lens. An early one for 35mm slides I think.

Could be a triplet ?

No it is not a triplet, it can be unscrewed, and clearly seen that there are two lens block, one at each part.
