I can find ELEFOTO, CO YO, PENTAX, and Kindai within my reach. For sure, Kindai is very expensive. Would anybody share their experience with me.[/code]

Those other makes are unknown to me. I have a Bower and a Pentax.

The Pentax is the better one, it is solid and well made, easy to get on the camera etc. Really the one to get.

The Bower (the same piece is sold under a few different brands) comes with a tool to put it on and take it off the camera. These work well too, only the mechanism isn't very heavy duty. For me it started to come off with the lens. Many people have reported that it turns too far in the K mount, "nearly" getting stuck! (Yes, it happened to me as well) However, in its favor: cheap to buy, sometimes a lens may not mount to the Pentax with its fine tolerance screw.

Stay away from anything with a collar, as you will not be able to focus to infinity. The Pentax and Bower do not have a collar, the whole adaptor is within the K mount when mounted.

The Pentax made one people says is the best and you don't need that tool to take it off the K bayonet mount ( http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/adapters/screw.jpg ).
I have a HAMA and a KOOD and both have that tool ( http://www.foto-magazin.ro/thumbnail.php?maxwidth=450&maxheight=450&file=img/fotomarket/200806121213287095.jpg ) http://www.jr-worldwi.de/photo/images/adapter_in_body_small.jpg

The Pentax adapter is the only one I've tried that actually locks in the PK mount. With the cheap one I needed to adjust and bend the spring, but still not really secure. I nearly dropped my Jupiter-9 once when it released from the PK mount as I was focussing. And Cosmin is right, the Pentax adapter releases easily with a finger nail.

Pentax all the way. Got the Bower when I got the camera...then got rid of it.
