Szervusz Attila,
Your Konishiroku lens has 40cm written on it, not 400mm? If so, I'd be very curious to see a photo of it when you have a moment. Would that be possible?

My biggest lens is a Tokina-made Vivitar 800/f8 (T-mount). I got it for a song on Craigslist a few years ago in order to experiment with urban shots from a distance, like a completely "flattened" view of an intersection from 2-3 blocks away. I always found such shots interesting. Never got around to it though, especially as it feels a bit weird to be walking about town with a thing that looks like a Panzerfaust. You never know whose attention you might draw.
There is a thread here about this lens: http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic.php?t=56326&view=previous

I just got my biggest lens yesterday :

Not the longest, but the largest of my collection, and very heavy. The lens itself (OF-233) is not so big (still 2.5kg), but the metal thing around to make it work on plane is very heavy.

Biggest lens I had was an 1200mm ~F7 triplet (noname "Skywatcher" from China). ~8kg, about 1m long. Looked quite funny when NEX-3 was attachet behind it Smile
Makes look Telyt 560 like a baby toy Smile

My currently largest lens in an 2000mm F10 Celestron C8 Mirror lens / Schmid Cassegrain telescope. "Only" 6kg, about 22cm diameter and 45cm(+adapters) length.

Biggest (longest FL) in my arsenal is the Novoflex 600mm and the 2X Tx to give it 1200mm (I count that as valid because it's the factory Tx) which is of limited use but can yield the odd moon shot. These things were football photographers' tools back in the day, ideal for picking up action at the far end of the field.

Can you put something beside it so it's easier to see how big it is.. because it looks pretty small alone like that Razz

OK, where's my crown??
Astro Fernbildlinse 1:6,3/1000
and when it comes to diameter and weight (14kg):
Zeiss 5,6/1000
..

I want a part of the crown too Wink

A 20,3kg lens arrived yesterday Smile
Image quality is not as bad as I thought it could be, but handling is not very well. Even lacks a tripod mount.

My PC is no working again, faster than ever - and I found your request Smile
A big television lens, will most likely not be my favorite lens, not only because of weight - but I don´t like Zoom lenses Smile
In front of it a Canon EF 50/1.4 as size reference.

It is not very big, but a lot of metal inside.

Wow! You guys have got some amazingly big glass...!

My biggest/heaviest would be a Vivitar Series 1 70-210 f/3.5 (Kiron made).
Big chunk 'o glass with all-metal housing.
