Many years ago I got a completely rotten Contax IIIa, equipped with a nice "Zeiss Opton" (early postwar) Sonnar 2/50mm. I still haven't tried it, due to lacking adapters. However I have a rare coated civilian wartime Sonnar 1.5/5cm LTM which easily can be used on digital cameras. It's nicer on APS-C than on fullframe, though ...

This one is from just after they dropped the "Zeiss-Opton" and went to "Carl Zeiss". The construction quality is beautiful - you can see it in the aperture mechanism.

I have a Ukrainian-handmade adapter from an old Kiev, and it works great for all my inner mount Contax lenses.

I don't use it for the heavier external bayonet lenses though. I picked up a Kipon external CRF adapter for those, and it's excellent. It's a single hunk of machined metal so it's super strong.

I received this Konica FS with its' standard 50/2. Not a particularly rare lens, the reason I bought the camera is the thing I noticed on the listing, this item has a Copal Square shutter, with internet lore stating the Konica FM was the first to get the Copal Square, making it the second after Mamiyas' Nikkorex to use it. Possibly this one is a later serial # and they actually starting using it somewhat before the next model was released.

Two really nice vintage lenses - i got mine a few years ago, although my Nikkor-P Auto 10.5cm 1:2.5 has only six blades ...

EDIT: "new" lenses: Zeiss (Rollei) Tele-Tessar 4/200mm and (shame on me) Tamron AF 28-200mm ... And waiting for another Asahi Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 2.5/135mm to arrive (first one obviously is de-centered), but not sure whether it's V1 or V2!

Very nice lens, and a bit elusive in Nikon mount (though there are several right now on ebay of the Lester A. Dine version which is unusual... at prices that seem below market).

A. Schacht Ulm. Edixa Travegon. 35 / 3.5 It's got a stuck aperture, but otherwise very good and came with both caps and box.

A nice addition to the other Schacht's I have, the 50 / 2.8 Macro and 100 / 3.3

Nice lens, the moving depth of focus scale some manufacturers used during that period really tickles my fancy.

I think I had a good deal with the Kiron 105mm macro lens.
The seller wrote that my offer of € 50 was a good bid for him.

Thank You Dog
