Bausch & Lomb UNICUM, Clean glass, aperture blades not rusty and moves smoothly. Shutter sometimes gets stuck halfway opening, not too sure how to repair this. Currently adapting it, threaded a M42 perfectly into the block to line upright, needs a few more Macro tubes to make it usable.

Local Camera Store, $25.

Unicum is the name of the shutter, not the lens, which is probably a Rapid Rectilinear type.

I've had a lot of bycatch lately. Not that I'm complaining, I won't exactly be making a loss when I sell it off.

Anyway, these two are staying, at least for a while:

Pentax K28/3.5

Minolta MD28/2 ("MDIII" version. AFAIK, same optics as the AF 28/2 but with floating elements which Minolta didn't manage to implement in the AF version)

Incredibly, I got one of these! Just need to buy an adapter to try it on m4/3 where it will become equivalent to a 100mm F3.6. Might fix that pinhole in the IIB shutter curtain before then, though - then I'll run some film through it. I only have an adapter allowing macro focus but already I see it has very good colour and saturation, mid contrast wide open under daylight. Flat field almost by F5.6 on m4/3. Not so unimpressive, considering that this is a lens designed with a MFD of 0.9m. Wink

The condition of mine is very good, and I didn't pay a fortune like the listed prices. If only it also said Leica on the badge, it probably would sell at those prices... and then I wouldn't be able to afford one. Laughing

Jupiter 3, 1952. I think I got lucky with a excellent copy, Nothing is loose in the build, grease/wax for focusing ring is perfect, nearly no dust inside, made before 1954 so it may have Zeiss glass, body has no aluminum pitting, no oil on aperture blades, I don't see haze or fungus under flashlight. Only issue is glass is very yellow, maybe because of its coatings or the fact that it's very old?

I doubt it has Zeiss glasses.
They used them on the ZK and first Jupiter-3 from 1950 and 1951. In 1952 it should be soviet glasses already.

Schneider Componon 135mm f5.6
Apart from a little Schneider-itis - it looks pretty good.
Can't wait to use it with my Besseler and 4X5's

Just arrived: Neewer 35/1.7 (80€ on amazon, you can find it also under Meike lenses)
Solid all-metal build (mount and front/rear lens cap are made in metal too), native NEX E-mount, very smooth focusing ring. Aperture ring doesn't have real stops but it's free from f/1.7 to f/22, it's very smooth and that should be useful to videomakers.
